This evening Anna J.D. and I watched a Christmas movie entitled, “Operation Christmas Drop.” It was a feel good Christmas movie like the hundreds that pop up this time of the year. Set in Guam in an American Air Force base it told a story about an Air Force base working throughout the year gathering supplies for a Christmas drop to small islands with few resources. At the end I was surprised to find this film was based on a true story. There is actually an “Operation Christmas Drop” and it is located on this base.
