This afternoon, from the convenience of my home office, I finalized a loan to purchase another automobile, picked out the automobile from CarMax, signed most of the paperwork and arranged to pick up the new vehicle Saturday.

It was all done on computer with phone calls, emails, “docusign,” including getting Tim to go with me Saturday to pick up the new auto. Technology is amazing.

I mention that because technology has been an “acquired taste” for me. I was 48 when computers first appeared in our home and we inched toward the world wide web…
